Lauren S. Thorson is a native of Cuyahoga Falls and a 2007 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. She obtained her accounting degree from Kent State University graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2011 and became a CPA the following year.
Following graduation Lauren worked for an accounting firm in the Akron area doing individual and corporate tax planning and returns. She then opened her own practice in January 2018.
Lauren is a Trustee for the Cuyahoga Falls Schools Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the Cuyahoga Falls School System, Students, Alumni and Teachers. She also was a part of the formation committee for the Copley Community Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Chamber Board of Trustees. Lauren served as President of the Copley Chamber from 2015-2017.
Lauren resides in Silver Lake where she enjoys spending time with her husband Greg and rooting for the Cavs, Indians and Browns.
